The first smears of paint in this work took me back to my childhood. It reminded me of a special print in a great-aunt’s dress. She was a remarkable character who brought joy wherever she went. It takes me to an absolute moment when safety, happiness, and affection come together.
Absolute is a celebration of quiet, meaningful moments. It has a fairy-tale flair, like the dreams children are filled with.
