Summer Ardour

I started with just the idea of large flowers or leaves. This time, I wanted them to be visible and more clear through the layers as I keep waving between hiding and exposing these elements. As the work started progressing, the colours also started to be more vivid, very much in line with the heat of the summer that was already going on.

Summer Ardour measures 115x75cm and is painted on watercolour paper (300g). This work is ideal for large rooms as it has a very strong personality.
