Symphony for a Loved One
Sometimes we take the people we love for granted. It’s the everyday actions that often go unnoticed: the small gestures, the thoughts, and the kind words. And time… All these days… All these years… This piece is a celebration of that very special human being. What a blessing! What a gift!
This painting evoked so much love and gratitude in me. As I painted/drew, like usual, I had no idea where it was leading me. I had in mind the green and bluish tones I knew I would be exploring a lot. The elements being born out of the strokes felt so poetical that I kept it sublime, no harshness, merely a symphony for a loved one.
Ultimately, this piece stands as more than a tribute; it is an offering to the enduring spirit of love itself. Guided by intuition, the composition evolved organically, much like the subtle gestures of care that often pass unnoticed. May the viewer find, within its forms, elements and colours, a reminder of the beauty in the profound connections that shape our lives.
This symphony measures 140x80cm and was painted in 2026, in acrylic paint, pastels, and colouring pencils on watercolour paper (300g).
