Sometimes we take the people we love for granted. It’s the everyday actions that often go unnoticed: the small gestures, the thoughts, and the kind words. And time… All these days… All these years… This piece celebrates this very special human being. What a blessing! What a gift!
Symphony for a Loved One evoked so much love and gratitude in me. As usual, while I painted, I had no idea where it was leading me. I had in mind the green and blue shades. The elements being born out of the strokes felt so poetical that I kept it sublime, no harshness, merely a composition of gratitude and love.
Ultimately, this piece stands as more than a tribute; it is an offering to the ever lasting spirit of love itself. Guided by intuition, the composition evolved organically, much like the subtle gestures of care that we hardly take notice of. May the viewer find, within its forms, elements and colours, the reminder of the beauty in the profound connection between themselves and their loved ones.
This symphony measures 140x80cm and was painted in 2026, in acrylic paint, pastels, and colouring pencils on watercolour paper (300g).
