The World Through Pink Lenses

I created this work with the intention of reflecting the beauty of our planet and showing that, beyond the chaos and destruction woven into human history, there is also a gentle yet powerful essence that exists in harmony with nature when we try to see the beautiful side (through pink lenses).

My process begun with washes of paint, followed by layers of pastel lines and additional paint. This layering created a rich surface where different tones interact, revealing both subtle and striking combinations of light and dark, or contrasting shades, sometimes within the same colour and sometimes across different colours.

The work can be appreciated from a distance as a complete composition, but it also invites a closer look, where each line, mark, and area reveals its own interest and character.
